Sparring...

Proverbs 27:17

17 As iron sharpens iron,
so one man sharpens another.

spar 2 (spär)
intr.v. sparred, spar·ring, spars
1.
a. To fight with an opponent in a short bout or practice session, as in boxing or the martial arts.
b. To make boxing or fighting motions without hitting one's opponent.

Not to get lost in words but to see the purpose behind the name. This blog is available for the month's Prize Fighters and will be 1 one of the sparring rings. To be clear it is not a place where someone can come and theologically or intellectually flex on a new believer or the group. However this is a blog where brothers can offer questions, insight, wisdom and personal revelation from reps an shadowboxing to sharpen other brothers. Bottom line is we want to strengthen our fellow prize fighters for whatever they may face.

Father God, I pray that your Holy Spirit be upon each Prize fighter as he contributes, reads and reflects on your word. That there is a prize set before each person and that we all run in a way that we obtain the eternal prize, a deeper understanding of who you are and how much you are for me.
In Jesus name I prayer.
Amen

So post your blogs on whatever God's word is speaking to you. Comment on your sparring partners questions to edify and strengthen. All in all, keep it Gospel.

God Bless,
J Johnson.
